In the history of the World, some other important events recorded on the date of 25 April are as follows: -

➧ 1809: The Amritsar Treaty was signed between the British East India Company and the Sikh ruler of Punjab, Ranjit Singh.

➧ 1867: Foreign trade permitted in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.

➧ 1905: Blacks got suffrage in South Africa.

➧ 1945: International Delegate Day is celebrated globally on 25 April every year. The day is celebrated to raise awareness about the role of representatives and representatives of member states in the United Nations.

➧ 1989: More than 20 thousand people died of encephalitis in Ethiopia. The disease spread to Sudan and at least 400 people died there too.

➧ 2010: The Indian Navy started the process of purchasing a light utility helicopter in place of the old Chetak helicopters.

➧ 2015: A severe earthquake caused great devastation in Nepal. The earthquake that struck near the capital Kathmandu caused a huge loss of life and property.

➧ 2019: Justice Indu Malhotra was appointed as the third member of the in-house inquiry panel to investigate allegations of sexual harassment against Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on April 25, 2019.
